FleetTap How-To
1. Turn on NFC on your smartphone
Android: Go to Settings - Wireless / Connectivity - NFC - Click to Enable
iPhones: Already enabled on all Apple iPhones
2. Locate FleetTap NFC Tag in or on the machine.
3. Unlock the smartphone and tap the NFC tag. (Hold for 1 – 3 seconds)
(NFC Antenna varies by device. See below for most common antenna locations)
4. Click the Prompt (If applicable)
With an iPhone, you’ll see this Prompt after every NFC scan, Click it.
With Android, if multiple browsers are installed, it will ask you to select a browser. Click “Always Allow”
5. You will now see your FleetTap web app.
Here you can see the assets information and the most recent meter updates. Using the buttons, you can update hours, request service, complete pre/post trip inspection reports and so on.
If prompted, allow FleetTap to access your location to report the Assets location at the time of your Tap!
